I am a PhD professional with 5 years of management experience designing scientific instrumentation for NASA (PhD dissertation), Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) and the European Space Agency (ESA). I am passionate about sustainability and using innovation to solve complex analytical problems for space applications.My purpose as a professional is to pursue a career that allows me to improve society’s well-being through business and science. I grew up in a rural town in Northern Mexico that was severely affected by poor water quality and intense air pollution. As a kid I always wanted to do something to help my community. This desire brought me to the USA to pursue a career in chemistry. After graduating with a bachelor's in science, I realized that I enjoyed and was good at coming up with innovating ideas to solve problems using engineering and data science. This led me to pursue a PhD in analytical chemistry and instrumentation.My experience with innovation, data analysis, and engineering allows me to have a unique perspective on solutions to challenges in the business world and to incorporate sustainability into industrial processes. The work I have done has rigorously prepared me to make the best decisions based on data, which is a vital skill that can be transferred into business.
