CurrentSoftware lead: Design, development and implementation of a ROS-based software stack for the web-based operation of an inspection ROV from backend (e.g., hardware drivers & interfacing) to behavioral and operational logic to frontend (device-agnostic web-based UI).Prototyping and product development: Mechanical design, electronics and network/communication infrastructure design for the inspection ROV; procurement, assembly, testing and quality control.Industrial protective coating application: Development and implementation of application-specific plugins, post processors and system interfaces for Universal Robots, development of UR pendant programs using RoboDK for execution of collision free coating trajectories.Supervision of junior engineers.
