I have over 25 years experience within the following sectors Renewable Energy, Automotive Manufacturing, Medical & Pharmaceutical & Consumer Products. Most recently, I was hired by Canadian Solar in 2011 as part of a core development team to design, develop, recruit key staff and launch a 'state of the art' high volume Solar Photovoltaic Module manufacturing facility in Guelph, Ontario. A 'one of a kind' fully automated Solar Module assembly operation for mass Solar Farm production requirements and to co-champion the implementation of ISO 9001 Quality System, ISO 14001 Environmental System and OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety System. In 2013, I transferred to London, Ontario as part of a core development team and joint partnership with Samsung to launch a $2.1 billion project to recruit and develop key staff and start up a manufacturing facility to design and manufacture Medium Voltage Stations for three mass '130 Mega Watt' Solar Farm Projects. The largest of its kind at the time in North America and to implement the ISO Integrated Business Operating System. I have a strong passion for teaching & mentoring. I am active in the study and application of Martial Arts & Self Defense. In particular MMA & traditional Goju Ryu Karate. I enjoy creative writing and have written editorials for Martial Arts and other Newsletters. I enjoy public speaking and embrace opportunities to share industry & product knowledge. More importantly, I really enjoy spending special time with my family.
