I was responsible of Oriola Corporation’s Communications and Sustainability function and member of the group management team. My team of 8 professionals was working in Finland and in Sweden. During my time in Oriola, the company went through a big transformation. Organisation structure, strategy and ways of working was changed. Transformation included the change from brick-and-mortal to online sales in Swedish pharmacy market, major IT infrastructure changes, B2B customer experience building and business continuity during different crisis, also in ongoing pandemic time. I was driving the creation of the purpose “Health for life” & implementation to show the way forward. Also, sustainability programme was built and sufficient roadmap for goals done under my leadership.During my time in the company, we renewed the brand, build new collaboration tools for internal communications and cooperation, activated social media campaigning and started a thought leadership programme. I want also to mention important steps in competence building in Communications and Sustainability functions resulting excellent team spirit and leadership scoring in yearly HR survey.

Resposible of communications, public affairs, brand and sustainability in Sweden and in Finland. Member of the Group Management Team. 10 member in the team from both operating countries. Team is responsible of internal and external communications including media and customer communications as well as public affairs, sustainability and corporate brand. Strong corporate function supporting business areas and Operation with highly skilled comms business partners.Development of comms channels and internal collaboration tools. I worked as a senior communications consultant and leader of a 10 to 25 persons teams working closely with our global offices around the world.The scope of my work was in overall communications consultation, especially in media relations, crisis communications, customer communications and public affairs. During the years I had customers from various industries, including companies from energy, chemistry, wood, food and automotive industries. Also, various public sector organisations were included in my portfolio.As a member of the management team I was responsible of sales, team result, various change management and business project. I have an extensive understanding of the consultation business.

My main responsibilities were external communications, including media relations, crisis communications, corporate responsibility and branding. During my time at RAY, I was part of improving RAY’s communications culture to be more open, quick and interesting. I also developed sustainability topics to meet GRI reporting requirements. One of the biggest projects of mine was to be responsible of the communications of the RAY internet gaming launch. Brand work and active marketing around the brand promise “Good will gaming” strengthened my understanding and knowledge around integrated marketing and communications. I was also responsible for a three-person team. I also acted as debuty Communications director at the fall 2007

My main responsibility was to develop external communications, including stock exchange communications, at the global level. I lead the international communications team. I also lead the corporate communications team, external and internal communications, as well as the brand at global level from the beginning of 2007. Norwegian company Yara International acquired Kemira GrowHow in September 2007. My final year at the organization was strongly focused on change communications internally but also externally since the company became part of Yara International at all levels. I cooperated closely with Yara’s corporate communications and HR, which also included communications of employee co-operation negotiations. I was responsible of four-person team.

My main responsibility at Veikkaus was in external communications. This work was my school for the media relations in Finland as I was one of the spokespersons in the company. I also developed the company’s GRI standards & reporting starting from the social responsibility. During my time at Veikkaus I did two intranet renewal and took part the web page renewals. I also started the social responsibility marketing in Veikkaus. We renewed the beneficiary messaging and I was responsible of the award winning advertising campaign. In 2004 I worked as deputy communications manager for a five-person team.
