• Enhance kernel debug capability handing panic and hang: Modern SOC design is complex, which bring system software hard to maintain. In my daily development, I need deal with many one time issues and silicon hang bug. In Marvell Shanghai, I lead the analysis tool development, and successfully deploy one complete memory dump based solution over whole company. • UBOOT maintainer: I lead the bootloader development in Marvell Shanghai group, and push related patches to the opensource.• Virtualization : Bring up arm64 virtualization solution over ARM’s foundation model and Marvell’s own soc.• Linux modules : o Scheduler: Support BIG.little solution, and research for scheduler enhancement which could boost the heterogeneous system’s performance.o Timer: Maintain this module, and propose related hw enhancement to reduce system running cost.o Thermal solution: Research for more cooling devices, and some new thermal governor which could better control system’s thermal in tolerated range.o USB3: Familiar with USB protocol analyzer, and write Linux driver for Marvell’s own usb3 controller independently.o NAND: Familiar with NAND and its spec, and rework opensource’s pxa3xx_nand, which boost its performance to its original by 4x.
