My passion is in landscape design and planning. I graduated from Ohio State University in 2006 with a BS in Landscape Architecture. During and after school I worked as a residential landscape design intern at Oakland Design Associates. I developed excellent hand drafting skills, and the ability to create cost estimates for the installation of the designs. I also had the experience of working directly with the clients. Furthermore, I worked on the planting design for the Murfield Drive corridore by doing a study of existing conditions and planting plans for the redesign. In December of 2006 I moved to Maryland to work as a Conceptual Planner at Loiederman Soltesz Associates. At LSA I worked on the design of residential communities and town centers with new urbanism design principals. I created high quality graphic illustrations and conceptual layout plans while developing excellent hand rendering abilities. I used PhotoShop on a daily basis, and became very familiar with SketchUp. After one year at LSA I expanded my responsibilities and joined the Planning team. This gave me the opportunity to work on the details for the projects I had planned conceptually. I worked mainly with Microstation while on the planning team.Specialties: Community Planning, Urban Design, GreenSpace Design, Town Centers, Schools, Hospitals, Storm Water Management Design, Roof Garden Design, and planting plans for commercial shopping centers and residential communities.
Listed skills include Sketchup, Arcgis, Microstation, Autocad, and 3 others.
