The project involved is EuroBoNeT, an FP6 European network of excellence. It is a scientific project focussing on the pathology, genetics and treatment of bone tumours. In this project I was responsible for the day-to-day communication with the partners involved in the project. I assisted them with questions related to the project and the reporting. During my PhD project I worked on the tumours called chondrosarcomas, which are rare tumours located in the bone and are characterised by the production of cartilage instead of bone.during my research I explored histological, immunohistochemical and genetics properties of these tumours. This resulted in 9 research articles and 3 reviews and the successful thesis defence in October 2005.
