Senior Brokerage Underwriting Director
CurrentAs a Senior Brokerage Underwriter for Ash Brokerage, I am responsible for assisting insurance carriers and advisors in determining if a proposed insured is eligible for insurance coverage. Duties can include:-Assess the eligibility of a customer to receive insurance products-Negotiate conditions and create underwriting cover letters-Analyze insurance applications-Assist advisors in understanding complicated medical matters-Shop informal cases based on risk assessment-Conduct independent investigations of applicants-Ability to understand and retention of insurance and reinsurance carriers-Review background information-Work with carriers to determine value of risk-Understand reinsurance rules and expectations-Ensure insurance company charges just the right amount for the coverage it provides.-Analyze risk assessment.-Work in tandem with case manager and marketing for comparative illustrations.-Understand medical terminology and conditions.I’m proud to be a part of Ash Brokerage’s team of more than 300 people who make a difference for financial professionals and their clients each day.
