I have been working in the field of outdoor recreation and education for over five years. The majority of my experience has been focused around instructing outdoor adventure sports. I first discovered my love for teaching when I was a snowboard instructor at Sugarbowl Ski resort in Lake Tahoe, California. Being able to share my passion for snowboarding with my students and witness the joy and self-efficacy they gained from the experience was what led me to fall in love with teaching. Since then I have gained experience in instructing snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing. My current goals as an outdoor professional are to build upon my managerial skills, work with underprivileged youth, and gain more experience in the administrative aspects of the outdoor industry.
