I was a member of a Personal Security Detail (PSD), from which I was selected to fulfill an Aide-de-camp role. I was responsible for maintaining an ever changing complex schedule for the Multi-National Battle Group East Commander, this included answering phone calls at all hours, scheduling appointments and keeping organized on a tight schedule. This required me to orchestrating logistics of transportation both by air and ground, which required me to work with other departments in the battle… Show more I was a member of a Personal Security Detail (PSD), from which I was selected to fulfill an Aide-de-camp role. I was responsible for maintaining an ever changing complex schedule for the Multi-National Battle Group East Commander, this included answering phone calls at all hours, scheduling appointments and keeping organized on a tight schedule. This required me to orchestrating logistics of transportation both by air and ground, which required me to work with other departments in the battle group to get this task accomplish on a daily basis. In this role it was also necessary for me to be able to work closely with many people from both U.S. and foreign militaries. I had to be quick on my feet to be able to adopt to a constant changing role, to problem solve and get creative on how to get the task done to ensure my Commander always was on time to obligations. I was also tasked with being the Chief Security Officer for the battle group in this role I was personally responsible for logging and securing, classified equipment, and information.
