Leif is a Multi-Passionate Creative who has built a dynamic career in the Arts both on and off the stage. As an Administrator, Leif combines his unique industry perspectives with a passion for Creative Strategy and Fundraising to help organizations authentically and completely represent their brand identity, their patrons, and their communities. His work is highly collaborative and inclusive, as a Healthy Arts Ecosystem is a Diverse and Wild place where people and ideas thrive loudly. As the world is being designed and built faster and more intentionally than ever, the conversation concerning the import and relevance of Art and Classical Music has never been more necessary - and it should be a lively one. Leif's Administrative Ambitions are sustained and informed by his vibrant and very active performing schedule as an International Chamber and Orchestral Musician. At home in a variety of styles, his concerts are known for their thoughtful virtuosity and exciting programming.Teaching is at the core of Leif's identity. From beginners to refined technicians, Leif is known for his aggressively positive approach to unpacking musicianship and building fulfillment through the study of an instrument. He has taken a maximalist approach to curating a pedagogy that draws from Health and Performance Psychology, Philosophical Experiments, String and Vocal Pedagogies, Linguistics and Semantics, Schools of Acting, Stand-up Comedy, etc...using new and whacky combinations to best connect with a student's understanding of their world. In addition to resources for students, Leif offers a variety of Clinics and Coachings for fellow Arts Educators including topics such as building creative spaces, understanding and empowering one's pedagogy, conducting, and many more.
