For 10 years, led applied, service and integrated learning in the NSCC diploma for Natural Resource Environmental Tech since 2010 to train the next generation of environmental practitioners in NS. Certified Environmental Professional with ECO Canada since 2011 with a BSc (1997) and M.Env.Studies (2000) and ten years experience as Regional Lead for NS Environment - Protected Areas (1999-2010). Skilled in leading Nonprofit Organizations, E-Learning, Event Planning, Academic Advising, and Outdoor Learning. A dynamic and dedicated adult educator, I use online, classroom and land based learning to train environmental professionals. I served for 10 years as Faculty with NSCC, certified as an Adult Educator via the NSCC CCEDP teaching training, I then fulfilled the Faculty Learning College Portfolio. Presently midway to attaining a Master's Degree in Education Leadership at Acadia University focused on rural and community voice in education policy. Growing hops and starting a nursery for future hop yard.
