Part of the AlterUse research project, where I, together with talented colleagues, examine people's use of so-called alternative (news) media and what role this plays in today's media environment.

- Conduct interviews with news editors from Danish legacy media about the rise of alternative media as part of the research project AlterPublics (PI: associate professor Eva Mayerhöffer) and collaborates with colleagues from OsloMet.- Supervise two groups at the first semester at Global Humanities and two MA students writing their theses.- Teach classes in different courses at the Journalism department

- In my PhD project, I examined and discussed the role of media and media use for processes of social recognition and disrespect.- The interdisciplinary theoretical aspiration was to integrate theories of recognition from social and political philosophy within media and communication research, while the methodological approach revolved around (digital) ethnography, focusing on a small group of young Danish media users.

- Supervised undergraduate and graduate students writing project reports, BA theses and Master's theses (primarily within journalism studies and media and communication research) and functioned as educational coordinator for students writing their BA theses in journalism studies.- Co-authored an English research article and a Danish research article about the career paths of all Danish politicians who left parliament from 1981 to 2015, with Professor Mark Ørsten and Professor Ida Willig.- Co-authored an English research article about civic participation and news practices of Danish media users, with Associate Professor Jannie Møller Hartley.

- Conducted a literature review about datafication and privacy and recruited participants for four focus group interviews about these themes in a case study led by Associate Professor Jannie Møller Hartley, Associate Professor David Mathieu and Associate Professor Sander Schwartz.

- Taught four English classes to more than 80 students in total, who attended the introductory period of their vocational education (20 weeks).- Functioned as classroom teacher for one class with a wide range of tasks relating to the students well-being and development, including contact with parents, helping with internship applications and administrating attendance.- Facilitated the students' establishment of a local branch the nationwide student organisation for vocational education, EEO.

- Planned and carried out weekly street soccer trainings for children and young people in exposed residential areas from 2011-2013.- Educated and supervised young street soccer coaches in GAME's Playmaker Programme from 2014-2017.

- Recruited more than 100 volunteers for GAME's weekly street sports activities for children in local communities.- Contributed to the planning and execution of the yearly STREET GAME tour with street sports events all over Denmark,

- Assisted the head of studies and the staff group at Journalism with internal communication in connection with the organizational transition to Microsoft Teams.

- Researched and produced the journalistic content of Stomiguiden.dk, a small Danish website for young people living with ostomy, which got more than 9000 site visitors within the first three months after the launch in November 2016.- Contributed to the project management in relation to funding applications, concept development as well as promotion of the website, which was covered by various Danish news outlets and by the popular Danish talkshows Go' aften Danmark (Good Evening Denmark) and Aftenshowet (The Evening Show).- The project was led by Jacob Nossell and funded by the Augustinus Foundation, TrygFonden and the Danish ostomy association, COPA.

- Conducted research interviews with 17 Danish news users aged 21-65 and managed the data collection of their in-depth media diaries for a research project about 'public connection' and citizenship led by Associate Professor Jannie Møller Hartley.- Managed the data collection of 1190 news articles and TV spots and led a team of six student assistants to conduct a quantitive content analysis of the data for a research report about ethnic minorities in Danish news coverage, which was written by Associate Professor Hanne Jørndrup under the auspices of the organization Ansvarlig Presse (Responsible Press).- Supervised journalism students and corrected and graded study assignments.

- Gathered and structured data about lobbyism, media ownership and Journalism-PR relations for the research project Power, Media and Communication (Magt, Medier og Kommunikation) led by Professor Mark Ørsten and Professor Ida Willig.

- Covered domestic politics, business and human-interest stories through various print and online genres and formats (based at the Society and Business newsroom of Fyens Stifstidende).- Covered the Danish general election in 2015, including as a reporter on election night in parliament.- Covered local politics and cultural life in north-west Funen (based at the local newsroom of Fyens Stifstidende in Kerteminde).- Planned, researched and wrote the portrait series 'Livet efter Lindø' (Life after Lindø) about former workers from the Lindø shipyard.

- Translated a 50-100 page study manual for undergraduate students from Danish to English.- Translated webpage content and official information letters for international students.

- Sold newspaper subscriptions in a challenging commission-paid setup.- Conducted promotional activities at major cultural events in Denmark.- Contributed with ideas for the editorial staff based on customer feedback.
