I'm a researcher. By profession, as I have already more than 7 seven years of experience within media and communication research. But also through the mindset and skills I have picked up as a journalist and via diverse engagements in civil society.I'm a teacher. By profession, as I have taught students from almost all levels of the educational system as well as young people for countless hours on (street) soccer pitches across Denmark. But first and foremost, I'm a teacher by conviction, as I believe that education and learning in all its forms are the most important driver of social justice and positive social change.

- In my PhD project, I examined and discussed the role of media and media use for processes of social recognition and disrespect.- The interdisciplinary theoretical aspiration was to integrate theories of recognition from social and political philosophy within media and communication research, while the methodological approach revolved around (digital) ethnography, focusing on a small group of young Danish media users.
