Direct daily operations of the finance and administration for 15 divisions generating $35M in indirect research and clinical revenues. Oversee and manage 240 faculty members focused on meeting organizational goals.Key Achievements: • Department Restructure – Spearheaded the reorganization of the business office with focused process and procedural improvements to optimize productivity and efficiency, reduce costs and errors, while streamlining workflow. • Budget Process – Successful in partnering with College of Medicine, Medical Associates and Hospital management staff to develop and deliver standard budgeting process and financial reporting requirements to provide consistency while reducing errors and improve documentation for decision-making. • Standard Operating Procedures – Led development and introduction of standard operating procedures for Finance and Human Resources departments. Standardization led to identification and collection of $1.5M in accounts receivables. • Grant Funding – Achieved growth in the research portfolio of 3% with additional grant funding.
