Founded in 1952, ELNA are expert suppliers in the yacht and marine sector providing adviceand support in security technology, communication and electrical components. Since 2017,our business has been operated by the third generation of its founding family, furtherenhancing our approach to the yacht and marine sector.ELNA operates in four different business areas, always with a focus on marine electronics.We are specialized manufacturer of radio antennas, wholesaler and service integrator for thecommercial marine market and under the FERROPILOT brand, we are a wholesaler in theGerman leisure marine market.Since 2019, we have been dealing with the growing damage caused by lightning.Conventional methods of preventing lightning damage do not provide adequate protection.A solution had to be found to protect the yachts. And the solution was a system which hasbeen used on land for years but has not been further developed for the requirements at sea.Together with the manufacturer Dinnteco we offer that patented lightning protection systemfor yachts since 2020.𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁The DDCE Marine is a lightning protection System against direct lightning strikes. Thesystem performs a continuous potential equalisation to prevent positively charged upwardstreamer from the protected structure and thus prevents the formation of a flash channel andavoid the main discharge/lightning strike into the yacht.ELNA's technical team also offer a range of additional protection for indirect lightning strikesto ensure your vessel is always protected.𝗠𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱In 2017, I took over the current ELNA GmbH from my father.
