• Coordinated a statewide LGBTQ youth violence prevention program that reached over 2,100 youth annually.• Organized, facilitated and assisted in the startup of GSAs (Gender and Sexuality Alliance) in 17 schools including 4 in greater Minnesota. This included high schools and 4 Middle Schools that engaged over 280 of students and faculty.• Founded and managed a statewide coalition with over 40-member organizations, to support LGBTQA youth, families and educators. • Initiated and managed an annual youth conference and festival that over 700 high school and middle school students attend. • Created an LGBTQA youth summer camp that is an annual event and serves over 50 young people.• Designed and led urban, greater metro, statewide and national trainings for and with youth, professionals, and community members. Topics included: bully prevention, gender, Kindness campaigns, family support. For example, created workshops for the annual Education Minnesota conference that included former students and represented the diverse populations that the program served.• Identified LGBTQA resources and connected youth, families, social workers, teachers and others to the most appropriate support.• Served on the National Advisory Board for a joint project of the Child Welfare League of America and Lambda Legal to ensure safe and supportive out-of-home placements for LGBTQ youth. • Mentored over 200 youth.
