From 2005 to 2009 was a policy and strategic planning specialist with the Northern Territory Government where his roles included support of local government reform in remote indigenous communities, Leigh has worked in the fields of Education, Training, Economic Development, Community Development and Disaster Management in South Asia, the Pacific, SE ASIA and remote Aboriginal communities in Australia.Leigh is a fluent speaker of Bahasa Indonesia and an accredited translator in the language, he has a working competency in Bislama and Tetum.He is looking for opportunities to apply his extensive experience in humanitarian program administration, capacity building, education (curriculum development/administration), emergency services, disaster recovery, governance and community development.
