Architect, implement, and analyze qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods studies, both virtually and in-person. Collaborate with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to accomplish research objectives. Consult with school district personnel and private donors about education issues and design research-based solutions to study and improve upon effectiveness. Lead remote and onsite teams.Selected Achievements:• Via 2-year qualitative and quantitative study of 1000+ people learning in an online context, and then implementation of strategies based on results, raised educators’ knowledge of effective teaching techniques by 55%. Built and managed virtual team for content creation and analysis of data from course surveys, interviews, and written documents.• Expanded community-based research skills as participant in the Literacy Teachers Engaged Scholars project:• Created online courses coupled with quarterly in-person visits to support understanding and application of strategies. • Co-created and led the Academic Writing Fellows, a yearlong mentoring and instructional program to facilitate academics’ writing and publication effectiveness. o All participants achieved requirements of increasing their research publications, and 50% exceeded them. Participants published journal articles, received book contracts, and increased grant submissions.
