Fundraising Strategy: Devised strategy for 2021-22 including the creation of: prospect foundation and corporate donor lists, approach strategy, individual donor campaign project plan, marketing materials, and target audience. Data Analysis: Performed cost benefit analysis of future fundraising events and presented findings to the Board of Directors to inform their strategic decision-making.

Research & Analysis: Compiled research on the social entrepreneurship landscape in Haiti through desk research and virtual interviews with Haitian entrepreneurs, international funders, and World Bank employees. Strategy Development: Recommended strategies to improve Haitian social entrepreneurship sector and presented findings to World Bank.

Financial Management: Oversaw $500,000 budget and managed emergency loan funding to cover COVID-19 related income losses; managed finance team and all day-to-day financial operations. Team Leadership: Managed team of 4 full time staff members and led weekly staff meetings and ensured quality and timely completion of all deliverables to meet desired outcomes. Crisis Management: Acted as a key decision maker in response to COVID-19 related closures, program changes, and re-open plans.

Planned and executed daily ESL courses (levels 101 and 102) for students ranging in age from 7-50. Taught three children’s courses, and two adult courses, where responsibilities included: lesson, activity, and assessment preparation, curriculum pacing, classroom management, and grading. Gave instruction for all five classes bilingually.

Digital Marketing Strategy: Overhauled marketing strategy, tripled online reach on social media, and optimized search engine visibility.Change Management: Implemented organization-wide use of a graphic design tool Canva, resulting in increased productivity and quality, improved brand consistency and awareness, and reduced annual design costs.Stakeholder Engagement: Acquired new major donors and leveraged personal network to secure more than $65,000 in individual donations. Project Management: Spearheaded 2019 GiveNOLA Day campaign resulting in 701 donors, a $10,000 first place prize for most individual donors among small nonprofits, and fourth place among all 700+ participating nonprofits.Innovative Leadership: Developed and produced first large scale, mission driven fundraising event, reaching an online audience of 10,000 and in person audience of 500+ and raising $30K from sponsorships and ticket sales.DEI Strategy: Furthered personal and professional analysis of structural racism through repeated participation in trainings with nationally recognized organizing groups including The People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond, Overcoming Racism, Urban Bush Women, and The Center for Courage and Renewal.
