I am a Registered Civil Engineer & GAICD member with over 20 years professional experience. I am the National Practice Area Leader for Engineering and Executive Director within Spiire. On the board I aim to promote and lead the growth of our organisation through a focus on climate change, digital innovation, risk management and diversity whilst maintaining our fantastic culture as a people business.My core expertise is in water management which includes strategic planning, flood resilience, stormwater harvesting, water and sewer planning, water sensitive urban design, urban drainage, waterway design and erosion management.I strive to motivate others to ensure innovation continues in the market sectors I work in, whilst ensuring our clients get practical yet inspiring outcomes via a collaborative environment. I have acted as an expert witness for many clients in VCAT and planning panel hearings. I also successfully lead a national award-winning integrated water project at Melbourne Airport. The UDIA award winning Project of Woodlea has also been an honor to be apart of through the creation of real community value through leading environment outcomes and the seeing the return of the Growling Grass Frog habitat to Kororoit Creek.Through my involvement in the industry led international study tour ‘Water Sensitive Cities 09’, has enabled me to bring international learnings to projects, understand the importance of industry relationships and encouraged the continued development of my leadership skills.
