Maintained trusted-supplier status by managing the client relationship with CEO and CTO, to define and deliver product roadmap, negotiate resource profiles for future phases and realise product-development improvements such as AWS cloud migration, automated builds for sensor and receiver firmware, configuration management strategy and operational support model.Clients include English Football League (EFL), English Rugby Premiership and World Boxing Championship. Virgin Media: Converged App Project.Project delivery lead and principal Scrum master for Virgin Media, converged-app project from second to sixth cycle of major production releases. Directed, distributed, cross-functional teams, to effectively deliver new features and enhancements across cable and mobile work-streams on both Android and iOS platforms. The app provides customers with a sophisticated user experience, to manage their Virgin Media, accounts and services via mobile.Managed expansion of development team from ten to sixteen resources in Q2 2021, consistently exceeding increased velocity targets during and after transition, justifying additional client investment. Matrix Booking: Matrix Sense (Resource Sensor) Product Development / BEIS Implementation.Senior, product-delivery manager for Matrix Booking’s, desk-sensor solution (Matrix Sense) from initiation and design to second cycle of production releases. Led a cross-functional, distributed Scrum team, to successfully build system for inaugural client, department of business, energy & industrial strategy (BEIS) at its central London office (+ 3000 desks). Collaborated closely with product owner, to manage change requests (CRs). Coached Scrum team in KDM from project initiation, enabling accurate and rapid estimation for subsequent CRs. BEIS requirement for sensors outside the site’s fifty-plus bathrooms (to aid social distancing) was scoped and estimated in an extraordinary, sprint-planning session (facilitated by the efficiency and accuracy that the Scrum team had built over numerous sprints) and quoted on the precise resource profile with rapid turn-around, resulting in prompt CR approval by BEIS IT department (ISS).The application, leveraged on re-implementation of Matrix Booking, desk-booking UI, hosted on Azure; integrating onsite hardware (sensors, gateways, repeaters and display kiosks) to a green-field, backend implementation, hosted remotely on AWS. Product realisation, matched BEIS’s vision, to provide employees with live view of desk and meeting room occupancy via onsite kiosks, mobile or web devices. It also fulfilled BEIS’s key requirement, to provide MI for facilities and senior management, to analyse occupancy and trends across the estate. Following second Matrix Sense, production release and comprehensive handover in August 2020, Keytree Scrum team, transferred the innovative and robust, finished product to Matrix Booking stakeholders for client implementation, amidst exceptional feedback from senior BEIS sponsors.

Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Rates Division: Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II) Program.Senior PM on the legislative, MII program, from initiation to fourth cycle of production releases. Directed cross-functional teams, to successfully deliver (APIs, components, and services) across multiple work-streams. At the heart of the implementation was a green-field, data-service that processed and augmented the entire division’s (enriched) European transaction data (circa 20,000 trades / day) for persistence and reporting purposes. Scrum master for between one and three scrum teams (+/- 18 resources) depending on project phase. Liaised with the development team, product owner and client stakeholders, to ensure that Scrum events were optimised, Scrum principles were respected, and continuous improvement was actively adopted. In addition to Scrum, our teams incorporated several DevOps practices into their approach. These included peer reviews, automated testing, and automated deployments. Defined the Agile process architecture, adopted by all divisions of RBC, ensuring that the bank was able to implement and prove legal compliance (for all applicable trades) ahead of the initial legislative deadline. This avoided potential fines of up to €50m or 10% of global turnover. Closely managed project financials and resourcing, ensuring all work-streams were on budget with resource profiles optimised for functional balance and capacity.
