I am currently in year 4th year for my degree in e-commerce in retailing. I am on track to achieving an overall 2:1 in in my degree. I have done modules such as Digital marketing, retail marketing, retail operations management, advanced database systems and much more. In these courses I have learned valuable skills such as, problem solving, SQL, basic Javascript, HTML, CSS, SEO and UX wireframe and market analysis.As 2023 I have 6 years of retail experience. 3 years (2017-2020) in a large department store, House Of Fraser, here I learned visual merchandising, and how to deal and interact with customers that expect a higher level of customer service from the sales advisors. In this position I became a holder of a management code, this was to deal with returns and refunds. at the end 2020 I started working in JD Sports, here I started as a member of the stockroom staff eventually moving to a sales assistant role. The role of Supervisor was then offered to me less than a year of working in the store. To become a Supervisor I had to complete classes such as, giving feedback, managing people, conflict management and role of a supervisor.In October of 2022 u was promoted from Supervisor to Floor Manager in a different JD Sports location. being in this role I practice all of the above skills much more as I manage supervisors and staff. I communicate the ideas and wants if upper management and mange getting these tasks done in the most efficient and effective ways. I work towards daily and weekly KPI targets for the store to improve customer service
