Young professional pursuing a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Computer Science. Currently completing my last semester at Arapahoe Community College, with intent to transfer to Colorado State University to complete a 4-yr degree. My time at Arapahoe Community College has been productive. I have taken advantage of every resource and opportunity available: clubs, scholarships, and I am currently in the process of being inducted into the National Student Leadership Society — an honor’s society organization that grows leadership and teamwork skills through seminars, exercises, and peer-to-peer coaching. I have spent the last five years cultivating a successful career in sales — starting with cold sales and working my way to telecommunication wireless sales. During this period, I gained strong interpersonal skills, excelled in verbal presentations, adapted in quick paced environments, and truly mastered the art of meeting client and managerial expectations. The industry has fostered a specific set of soft skills that I particularly excel in. I am also an actor and model. In an ever changing world, diversifying my interests and talents has been one of the more beneficial additions to my life. It is just an added layer to my portfolio. Pursuing these interests has further solidified my soft skill sets prior mentioned, as well as satisfying creative ambitions. In addition, it has also taught me to work independently as a contractor — as well as collaborate with other team members during shoots to convey a hyper specific branding message for clients/small businesses through images and media.
