Reporting to the medical affairs director, I was responsible for establishing and managing a new business unit (Customer Relations) an in-bound call centre, to support the brand in a customer facing environment. This involved developing the service offering and business strategy and recruiting and training a high performing team of customer focussed professionals.

Reporting to the director of the health development division, I was responsible for managing a portfolio of research driven, cancer control, social marketing campaign/communications and patient support programs under The Cancer Council brand. This involved leadership of 14 senior health promotion and social marketing staff and managing a budget of government tenders of $4 million dollars. Complex stakeholder relations including liaison with Sate Government and community liaison was integral to this role.

Reporting to business owner, developing business, designing and implementing mass communications strategy to deliver pre-qualified clinical trial participants. This included managing a virtual, inbound and outbound call centre of nurses to screen participants as well as designing mass and social media communications campaigns.

Reporting to director level, freelance consulting to Healthcare and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) communication agencies such as Edelman PR, Palin Communications, Beyond The Square Communications, Fleishman Hillard Stratcom, ICU, and Susan Andrews Communications Group (SACG). This involved delivering strategic brand building communications plans and executing these plans with great success.

Reporting to the managing director, I was responsible for re-launching the Health Programs brand by developing a successful business and communications plan which involved researching, testing and selling a suite of profitable health promotion programs and products for implementation in small and large corporate and industrial settings in Australia. This also involved recruiting, training and leading a team of program managers.
