In my current role I utilises my skills in the technical aspects of Entura's business this role enables me to maintaining a heavy involvement in multi discipline projects and project management as well as contributing technically in his fields of expertise through my role as a Specialist Consultant, this role requires me to provide technical support, project management and leadership to senior engineers for various projects within but not limited to hydro, thermal and diesel power stations in the disciplines of mechanical, electrical and civil. This role also allows my skills and technical expertise in asset management, asset maintenance, condition monitoring, plant operations, and water resources to be fully utilised.

Whilst employed in my current role I utilise my skills in both the sales and technical aspects of Entura's business through the multiple roles that I hold as the Key Account Manager for Papua New Guinea while still maintaining a heavy involvement in multi discipline Project management as well as contributing technically in my fields of expertise through my role as a Specialist Consultant, this role requires me to provide technical support, project management and leadership to senior engineers for various projects within but not limited to hydro, thermal and diesel power stations in the disciplines of Mechanical, electrical and civil. My technical expertise includes vast experience in asset management, asset maintenance, condition monitoring, plant operations, and water resources. I have over 27 years of professional expertise and have worked on various projects within Australia and overseas in places such as New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Malaysia. During my career I have successfully completed projects including Bell Bay steam turbine alignment and balancing, generator testing for various Victorian hospitals, undertake condition assessments for various energy power company's in New Zealand, Malaysia and PNG and the redesign of pipe works for power stations. I have also developed numerous asset management plans to support financial models to detailed 30 year plans for submission to institutions such as world bank. I have conducted condition assessments, asset due diligence and created asset routine based on RCM failure modes and effect principals. I have been a speaker at Reliability Week in Melbourne and a joint presenter at Hydro Power Engineering Exchange in Christchurch, New Zealand with my most recent presentation at the Australasian International Hydro Power Conference held in New Zealand in November 2013.

In this role I was required to lead a number of geographically dispersed teams across Tasmania implementing proven condition based maintenance strategies and process in the fields of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil disciplines to achieve statewide consistency.This role also required me to insure that the current condition and risk of assets were analysed accurately and condition and risk of all assets was reported on monthly.During my time in this role I also facilitated Root cause analysis workshops and developed risk mitigation strategies for assets that had high risk.This was all in conjunction with mentoring my team managers and being responsible for the performance development of all statewide team members.

In This role I developed implementation strategies to introduce Condition based maintenance to the Gordon and Derwent areas of Hydro Tasmania as a pilot program, this also included things such as the development of new maintenance plans and work orders, condition and risk analysis tools and asset condition and risk reporting platforms.
