Full brand implementation at Leeds Golf Centre, defining the communications strategy and tactical delivery for one of The North's best all-round golf facilities as part of a £2million transformation project. Also responsible for the delivery of a new student accommodation brand - ICONINC - which proposes to construct purpose-built housing constructed to an executive specification for international students. The role also included analysing business processes and operational strategy in order to create efficiency and maximise profitability.

SMG Consulting is a newly-formed business specialising in strategic communications advice for both public and private sector organisations in the Yorkshire region. Further to this, the company also incorporates the remnants of Urban Identity Ltd, a specialist publishing company that formerly produced a variety of magazine in the lifestyle and property sector (most notably 'PaD Property & Design Magazine' as well as publications for Leeds Bradford International Airport and a consortium of high-end retailers including Bang & Olufsen).

Until it ceased trading in October 2008, Urban Identity Ltd was a leading specialist publishing and marketing company. Having strategically driven the company's performance and reputation since inception, I enjoyed great determination to succeed in light of competition from larger publishing groups and newspaper houses. I established and was responsible for the growth and periodical production of: - PaD Property and Design Magazine - advertising-led publication focusing on residential property development and investment in city centre locations such as Birmingham; , 13,000 copies printed monthly.- Divine Magazine - a niche publication conceived and produced on behalf of several complementary businesses operating in the luxury lifestyle market (Bang & Olufsen, North America Travel Service, The Feversham Arms Hotel). The strategic objective has been to build and engender loyalty amongst customers - many of whom share a common consumer profile. Commenced September 2007, 15,000 copies per edition bi-annually.- LBAirmail - consumer travel and lifestyle publication on behalf of Leeds Bradford Airport. 30,000 copies per edition published tri-annually between January 2005 and September 2007.Other client projects include publications for West Row (leading hairdressing salon chain in Yorkshire), The Yorke Arms (a Michelin-starred restaurant north of Harrogate) and Room 7 (one of Leeds' premium fashion retailers), as well as various branding/marketing projects for Leeds City Council.
