I decided to follow my passion for coffee instead of pursuing my field of study and ended up becoming the operations manager for one of the leading coffee roasteries in South Africa. Since joining the operations department we have recently achieved the Roastery of the Year 2018 and 2019 awards, recognized by FNB Coffee Magazine. I have lead, upskilled and nurtured a team of baristas throughout my career.I started as a humble driver ambitiously moving my way to the top of my career within Rosetta Roastery. I believe that constant learning and growth is essential for the world we live in. This dynamic environment requires leaders and teachers that are willing to support and motivate those around them. This has lead me to further my studies with new perspectives through work experience, ultimately fuelling a new passion.
