As Communication Director, I oversee communications, engagement, outreach, and event planning for reThink Green and Green Economy North. I also leads the team responsible for the annual Greater Sudbury Earth Festival and the Annual Evening of Recognition.

The Centre for Research in Occupational Safety and Health (CROSH) was established by Laurentian University to provide structured communication between stakeholders with interest in occupational health and safety. I focused on research translation, taking the scientific findings from research projects and turning them into materials that stakeholders could understand and use comfortably with their respective audiences. I also led our researchers and students in science communication and social media training to help them become more effective and confident communicators.

DeAngelo Brother's Corporation specializes in infrastructure development and industrial asset management. As Office Manager, I was responsible for the administration of over 100 employees, as well as all customer service inquiries. Industrial maintenance requires strict attention to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and I worked closely with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure all employees understood their rights and responsibilities. I assisted the Project Manager with internal and external communications, and developed briefing notes and fact sheets to distribute to the employees. I oversaw both ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, and attended training courses to gain a better understanding of detailed information management systems.
