Daily work includes, but is not limited to, data analysis, QAQC, and daily monitoring of sites. My childhood involvement with Girl Scouts and 4-H fostered a desire to make a difference in my community and to be an environmental steward. I was drawn to a career in environmental engineering because it allows me to make a tangible, positive impact on the natural world and promote sustainability, resilience, and environmental education. During college, I was heavily involved in the UIUC chapter of WEF-AWWA, CEE Student Committee, and other organizations, including serving as the Illinois Section AWWA Intern.I serve as the co-chair and a member of The Conservation Foundation's Next Generation Advisory Board and an active member in the American Water Works Association (AWWA), Illinois Section AWWA (ISAWWA), Water Environment Federation (WEF), and the WEF Member Association of Central States Water Environment Association (CSWEA).
