Coordinated humanitarian aid programs and public relations volunteer for non-profit organization focused on education in Afghanistan. Previously involved in PR support for Joanne King Herring's Marshall Plan Charities, a holistic model for villages in Afghanistan simultaneously introducing the “essential five” – clean water, food, health care, schools and jobs.Since August 2021, we have been blessed to feed, through generous donations, tens of thousands of our Afghan allies left behind. We also feed Afghan street kids once a week. We continue to support 50 children in an orphanage (food, shelter, education, supplies), operate our women’s clinic in eastern Afghanistan and provide medical care to women in remote villages. We work with our medical teams to conduct surgeries, including caesarian-sections, as well as providing free, custom-made, state-of-the-art prosthetics to 16 children in 2021 and 2022. We continue to provide education to girls in our 16 home schools, all of which are closely coordinated with community elders in villages. Additionally, in the last 18 months, we have assisted in relocating Afghan families from Afghanistan to the United States and Canada through coordination with USCIS and the State Department.
