Serve as lead technical liaison to client project managers, engineering, and operations staff.

Responsible for scope, schedule, and cost development for design/build, lump sum and time and material construction projects including front-end estimating and scope development, bid package preparation, and cost estimation for new and change order work for Federal construction/design-build projects. Produced required technical, sales and front-end documents for proposal packages and presentations. Established positive and effective relationships with key internal and client stakeholders to ensure delivery of quality workmanship and excellence in customer service. Manage and ensure architects, contractors, subcontractors, construction managers and administrative staff supporting the project fulfill responsibilities. Supervise and manage project contract requirements including submittals, pay applications, schedules, budgets, reports, and closeout.

 Coordinate and produce more than 50 proposal responses for projects ranging from $100k-$36 Million, including engineering services, equipment, and construction/installation. Assemble and manage a multi-disciplinary team to produce required technical and sales documents for proposal packages. Develop, assess, and maintain sales support libraries and templates to enable scalable work processes as well as provide accurate and fast reporting and financial roll-ups. Update estimating cost workbooks for potential projects through coordination with procurement and engineering leads to assist in quicker cost delivery for standardized projects. Coordinate with project management and project controls teams to develop and implement engineering, execution, and construction schedules for faster executive approval of proposal work.

 Maintain strategic focus for projects ranging from $5-$25 Million involving frequent interaction with key stakeholders by facilitating communication and distribution of engineering and vendor documents. Manage multiple disciplines to produce design documents with a focus on maintaining or improving the as-sold profit level, product quality, and job site safety performances. Establish project invoice review system with accounting and procurement groups to reduce budget overages on bulk material purchases. Streamline engineering deliverables between contract/client requirements, construction requirements and internal tracking for ease of proposal development. Provide project execution expertise to document control department for long term electronic filing solutions and project closeout set up.

 Execute projects ranging from $95-$150 Million, with frequent collaboration between engineering, execution and construction personnel. Develop and implement construction schedules; schedule large equipment deliveries to remote site locations. Administer and develop scopes of work for subcontractor bids and contracts; analyze bid proposals. Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated events.  Develop and maintain budget forecasts and approve invoices.

 Award project buyout for a variety of scopes and disciplines including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural steel, structural and decorative concrete, and interior finishes on projects ranging from $3-$47 Million. Administer subcontract maintenance, organization, and distribution of submittals and requests for information. Manage database and file system for distribution of documents to subcontractors and architects/engineers. Liaise with developers, owner representatives, architects, interior designers, and engineering teams.  Establish and balance internal construction budgets.  Implement hard copy and electronic file organization for architect and engineering drawings and vendor submittal documents to facilitate project closeout and owner/tenant training. Facilitate LEED AP Gold Green Building Certification for multi-million-dollar Garden Expansion through construction management of a 7-story cast-in-place parking deck, 2-story visitor center with green roof design, cable suspended pedestrian walkway, and a variety of walkways and garden structures. Expedite reopening of hotel public spaces, in-house restaurant, and meeting spaces in time for major events in San Antonio. Completed large commercial construction projects to meet fixed publicly announced deadlines to support retail store grand openings.

 Produce foundation and structural design documents for contractor installation per company and client requirements. Review contractor installation documents for compliance with engineering specifications and standards.
