Taught Food Microbiology labs at the undergraduate level.Developed teaching material based on departmental and university requirements.Determine lecture/lab timeline and content.Developed a teaching manual that included instructional content, supplies and ordering information, media preparation instructions, and a safety checklist.Grading exams, lab reports and other assignments.Direct and counsel students regarding academic performance.

• Set up new microbiology lab to support the manufacture of sterile wound care debrider.• Developed EM program to qualify the cleanroom suites. • Coordinated the training and work of entry level Microbiologist and EM technicians.• Added value to the local site via providing in-house microbiology testing for other Smith & Nephew sites. • Investigated and identified environmental and bioburden microbiological isolates using the MicroSEQ 3500 Genetic Analyzer.• Performed microbiological testing including sterility (USP 71), bioburden (USP 61) microbial limits tests (USP 62), antimicrobial effectiveness testing (USP 51)on raw materials, in process and finished bioactive medical products and reported results to the applicable in-house customers/departments.• Conducted investigations and wrote deviations on out of specification (OOS) test results.• Ordered supplies and organized the lab to increase efficiency and turnaround time for test results.
