- Stakeholder management through maintaining strong relationships with our validation customers located throughout the world. Providing regular communications of upcoming testing and being the point of contact for feedback and further assistance- Managing the end-to-end distribution of hardware and weekly software releases. This included, identifying the validation of customer-based testing requirements (including: vessel type and application, geographical location, user availability and experience) and ensuring the correct products and accessories are prepared and sent to those selected for testing- Feedback and results – gathering and documenting insights and feedback from validation customers and/or on-water testing, loading into the centralised issue management portal within required timeframes for review-Test boat skipper – organising and leading the on-water testing for projects in development. This involves, ensuring all equipment is installed and operational prior to departure with the product managers and test analysts. Sole responsibility for vessel and occupant safety during operation-Strong collaboration with all stakeholders – this demand successfully working across multiple divisions of Navico to ensure product managers are informed and regularly updated on the developments throughout all the testing stages and, as required, making adjustments to the testing schedule to ensure fully validated results are achieved- Throughout this role, and my on-going and previous experience with Coastguard New Zealand and the requirements needed for conducting search and rescue operations has greatly benefited the Navico team. In this regard, I have been able to provide further understanding of the specific requirements needed in this field of search and rescue

Liaise with boat owners on the requirements needed to amend the operating plan for a corporate charter boat in line with the new legislation. Tasks included: - Outlining the new legislation and highlighting the specific requirements that were applicable - Documenting the process to follow to move to the new safety system- Creating the vessel manual with approved content- Arranging for the supply of equipment and resources required to meet survey requirements- Acting as an agent to seek for submission of the operators’ plans to Maritime New Zealand

Working with these super yachts and charter boats tasks included: - Acting as captain of the accompanying chase boat – a task that included: managing the day to day operations and requirements: arranging the owner’s personal excursions, replenishing provisions and personnel relocation- Operating the vessels’ tenders and arranging, for example, to and from shore transfers and guests’ water activities- Assisting with watching keeping and navigation duties- Repairing and maintaining the yachts. This included: scheduled, preventative and un-scheduled maintenance and, when required, the appointment of external engineers.- Refreshing of interior systems; this involved the installation, commissioning the upgrading of interior chattels of the yachts.

- Management of personnel. Here I was responsible for preparing two direct reports the focus of which was to assist with delivery and management of day-to-day tasks- Project scoping By defining the required brief, I was responsible for costing quotations (ensuring margins were observed), compiling delivery timeframes and communicating Henleys’ proposals to customers- Production and project management. Upon confirming a sale, I would allocate all the required tasks and project components through the centralised system. This included ordering of supplies and managing of workloads to ensure that delivery deadlines were met. As required, I would adjust workflows and communicate updates to the customers.- Increasing revenue, here I had a responsibility to extend Henleys’ activities into the international market and seek to generate new revenue streams through offshore distributors. I was tasked with outlining this approach to Henleys’ management. This required:Identifying and outlining the proposed logistic delivery channels (including customs – import/export) Compiling the required documentation and items for presenting to Henleys’ management team involving the use of: PowerPoint, marketing collateral, samplesMeeting with potential distributors from Turkey and Malta- Website management I was responsible for leading the creation and ongoing development of Henleys’ website. This involved creating pages, writing content and collating new imagery- General administration tasks included:o Insurance assessments – documenting findings from returned and damaged items. Sending details to insurance companies within the given timeframes for their claim assessors to review.o The management of consignment stock to New Zealand distributors that involved: establishing relationships and ensuring that stock remained at the required levels and, as needed, overseeing the distribution of stock.
