I lead a team to exceed expectations through coaching, providing guidance, and, when necessary, joining them to ingest website content into Diligent's news aggregation service. DGI or Manzama, Diligent's news aggregation services, is an alert service used by clients for competitive intelligence, business development and risk management purposes. Insights is used by clients to monitor industry and company health scores.My team targets webpage content and uses web-scraping tools to ingest the targeted content. We have more than 80.000 scraped sources in our system and process more than 400,000 articles each day. Clients use pre-created global Boolean or self-created searches to find relevant articles. I lead the company's effort to create global searches for topics of great significance. In addition to creating new searches, my team and I maintain over 2,000 globally available searches.
