The Meeting Services Division handles the organization and coordination of one-day training meetings, multi-day incentive programs, and our week-long Annual National Convention.In my role as the Meeting Services Division Manager, I oversee all aspects of the Division from event budgets, to hiring and training new staff, to on-site event management. Our Annual National Convention includes over 1800 registered attendees and requires the efforts and participation of 100+ on-site corporate staff. I provide guidance and direction during the weeks leading up to our event, as well as act as liaison between the hotel, vendors, and team leaders in the preparation and execution of the event.We completed the 2012 Annual National Convention in June. Some of our many highlights included the highest attendance numbers to date, enhancements to our Trade Show, and the introduction of a talent show during our final night Awards Extravaganza. We recognized the achievements of our franchises with style and flame. Yes - flame. Nothing like a little pyro to spice up the final show!Previous event highlights include - hosting our Welcome Reception in 2011 at the St. Louis Rams dome; coordinating the transportation of cargo containers across the U.S. and into the middle of the Pacific Ocean for our 2010 Hawaii event. Our team is responsible for registration, awards and recognition, workshops, signage, graphics, sponsorship, trade show, as well as the creation of numerous audio-visual elements and overall event support. What an amazing team!Our Convention Team is well underway with plans for the 2013 Convention, scheduled to be held in Anaheim, CA.

Created training programs for hourly and management team members over a twelve-year time frame, impacting over 10,000 team members annually.Created and managed internal weekly communications process for 200+ locations ensuring consistent, accurate messages, and quality content for hourly team members, managers, multi-unit operators and executives.Project Manager for training and operations-based initiatives including the implementation of a new human resources database and the production and direction of training videos.Planned, scheduled, and directed logistics and on-site activities for one-day to full-week meetings for groups of 30 to 450 participants.
