Hunter Brothers strives to provide a fun environment for families to create lasting memories together. Queen's Space Engineering Team is a student run design team that builds a Mars Rover to compete at the University Rover Challenge (URC) in the Mars Desert Research Station in Southern Utah.I served as the project manager for the rover competition and oversaw the mechanical, electrical, and science sub-team managers. I guided the design process and ensured that rover met the established design criteria. I was also responsible for the budget and purchasing.Responsibilities:• Established design criteria based on competition rules and FMEA report from previous year• Created project timelines and budgets for each sub-team• Worked with suppliers to source parts and materials• Reviewed parts lists submitted by sub-teams and placed orders with suppliers• Produced technical reports, videos, and demonstrations for URC judges and team sponsors• Collaborated with campus machine shop to manufacture custom parts

The focal point of the event is the main structure built by the class inside Grant Hall in the week leading up to the event.
