The road less traveled seems to be my way. Athletics has shaped me; giving me the courage to go toward the fear. I have received high honors in bike racing; being crowned world champion, US national champion, and even the UCI world cup champion...later being inducted into the BMX, MTB, and US Bicycling Hall of Fame's. In 2003 I moved toward retail and opened a clothing boutique in the contemporary women's fashion space; where I gained a lot of personal and professional growth. I learned new strengths, skills, and how to manage projects and humans; building a strong team of employees with very little turnover. I began to miss bikes after 9 years of fashion and returned to my bike roots. After my return to the bike industry, I attended an executive mountain bike retreat, where I found myself teaching many of the other executives how to ride mountain bikes. That weekend the light bulb went off and ichoosebikes was born. I launched ichoosebikes in 2014 with the goal to get more riders on mountain bikes; safely. I partnered with industry companies, working with R&D; developing bikes and equipment as well as creating more opportunity to make a better tomorrow for all things: bikes.In 2024 I have now moved to Colorado exploring the great outdoors and searching for my next adventure.
