Managed Travel Department for Titan Corporation prior to its acquistion by L-3. Responsible for the Corporate Travel Department (CTD) with staff of 16 and T&E of $60M. As a CTD, Titan Travel delivered highly Cost-Effective and excellent service to diverse group of business units during period of hi-growth. Developed and managed strategic global alliances with corporate card, GDS, online booking system, multiple airlines, rental car companies, and hotels. Achieved department savings of $3.6M annuallyDesigned allocation system and gained approval from Defense Audit Agency. Worked with 40 unit controllers and corporate finance on quarterly and AOP forecasts. P & L responsibilities for travel and corporate card program operations with $1.2M expense budget.Drove down cost per ticket from $21.00 in 2001 to $4.80 in 2005, as T & E budget increased to $50M.Researched, negotiated and implemented technology products for cost-efficient operations.Created travel website: travel policy, corporate card program, preferred suppliers, FAQ's, on-line booking tool and feedback mechanism.Sold solution for global Meetings and Events Card program, and internally influenced controller acceptance. Annual charge volume spend increased from $25 M to $42M.Developed single wire transfer payment for multiple business units in cooperation with corporate treasury department. Annual savings exceeded $180,000.Rapidly implemented complex, unique program for expanding European and Middle East operations. Meetings and Events card was used for start-up operations, including payroll, temporary housing, transportation, shipping and supplies. Created corporate card policy, including managing 4,000 cards worldwide. Designed business unit processes, and implemented procurement card program in a non-mandated environment.Drove down card losses by 30% by designing internal process for each business unit.
