The Navy Clearance Diver Trust is a not-for-profit organisation that supports the Royal Australian Navy's special forces branch and their dependents by providing relief in times of hardship, and assists proactively to prevent hardship through education, support, scholarships and other initiatives during divers' transition from service to civilian life.

The specialty finance division sat within Legal Financial Services Pty Ltd, and was established to explore, and develop, new ways for clients of law firms globally to access capital to pay their legal fees, and to remove from lawyers the burden of delayed cash flow. Through integrations and technology we developed new services which aimed to provide greater equality in the legal system, and greater access to support for those who needed it.

As head of the division of Legal Finance I lead a team of talented and caring people who assisted clients obtain funds responsibly under credit licence so they could retain a lawyer and access the legal services they needed. With full P&L responsibility I managed the team, the regulatory compliance, customer service, sales, relationship management, credit decisioning, and law firm relationships nationally.

I lead a fantastic team of people across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, responsibly managing the relationship with, and performance of, Suncorp’s national insurance panel (70 partnerships) in a balanced way so it met the needs of customers at claim time, and obligations to shareholders throughout the year.

I lead changes to the functions which managed the purchasing of all consumables; transport and logistics from the vendors to the warehouses; stock and material management within the warehouses; and distribution from the warehouses to the points of use.Reporting to the Director of Supply, we managed the daily operations and transformation of Queensland Health’s Supply Chain. The Queensland Health Supply Chain is complex, servicing 17 Hospital & Health Service districts, with 182 hospitals, health service centres and clinics across the State.

I was responsible for commercial and legal negotiation, sourcing and contract management for Rio Tinto’s 7 coal mines across Qld and NSW, along with providing procurement support in logistics and labour hire to the uranium and aluminium business units in Qld and NT.
