The PENNfranchise Project works to build political power in intentionally disenfranchised communities. Working to ensure that the voices of individuals impacted by the criminal legal system are heard at the ballot box, in the Capitol, in the streets and in every corner of Pennsylvania.

Built the site from the ground up, produced daily content, delegate stories to bloggers, lead discussion on potential story ideas.

Identify local politicians and celebrities to act as validators for NextGen. Promote NextGen Climate by mobilizing political validators in social media, story collection and earned media efforts targeted at motivating young voters to vote for NextGen. candidates. Increase millennial support for candidates who support climate action and the youth agenda. Act as spokesperson for the Eastern part of PA where media and other organizations are concerned. Speak on the record with reporters, assist Comms Director with pitching to media, and drafting releases. Build coalitions with other progressive organizations to mobilize a wide range of millennials around progressive issues. Organize and plan various events targeting non-campus millennial voters, as well as identify sponsorship opportunities for NextGen with an allocated monthly budget. Plan, staff and manage events aimed at volunteer recruitment, gathering petition signatures, voter registration, and voter mobilization.

Organized and promoted events in partnership with State and local governments to make benefits available to low income families through an internet based software program. Trained new affiliates on software program throughout the country, strategized using traditional and new media tools to increase retention rates amongst affiliates. Produced monthly newsletter and distributed via email and made available on website for new trainees and affiliates.

Helped to Build and staff a Clinic Campaign from the ground-up, which has become one of the firm's most successful assets. Set up access and communications for state agencies to federal income for enhancement programs such as CHIP and Medicaid. Developed and delivered marketing presentations to persuade potential affiliates to join the Solutions for Progress Network. Developed curriculum materials and conducted on-site training sessions in Ohio, PA, and Arkansas.Trained organizations and government agencies on the Benefit Bank software program.
