Working as a member of the stage crew at Ohio University's (Athens campus) main performance venue: the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium. This includes - but is not limited to - conference room reservations, artist performances, dances, corporate events, galas, dinners, and theater related events. Our spaces in the Baker University Student Center include a hallway of conference rooms, a theater able to seat a couple hundred people, a ballroom with a mobile wall able to separate two large rooms, and a lounge on the bottom floor. Our spaces in the Baker University Student Center include a hallway of conference rooms, a theater able to seat a couple hundred people, a ballroom with a mobile wall able to separate two large rooms, and a lounge on the bottom floor. My responsibilities can be as simple as unlocking rooms, but I also must set up tech for events including microphones, speakers, lights, projectors, and any other needed audio/visual assistance.I work this position during the academic school year.
