This is what I do.I’m your man for CNC setup. I am responsible for preparing the machine for each different part, making sure it is running the right program and machining to print specifications, making sure it is running within tolerances, and changing out tools. And, I’ve done some G code programming too.This includes manually machining parts with punches and drill presses, and completing an assembly. This also includes inspection of parts and using precision instruments to perform the inspection procedures required, such as True position gauges, mics, and calipers. I perform supplementary operations with inspection equipment such as .001 indicators, dial bore gages, inside, outside and depth micrometers, plug and ring gages to make the part match blueprints. In addition, I am trained in autoCAD, with experience in designing and editing blueprints. This includes 2D, 3D, and actually drawing them, too. This is what I do.
