Through my time working as a Software Developer I've learned to manage expectations and timelines, as well as problem-solving and come up with solutions for immediate issues.Through many hours of debugging and error handling, I've found better ways and understanding of have to future-proof my work.I am fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to design and build entire projects for Customers, giving me an understanding of what it takes to build entire systems and what sometimes gets overlooked. From designing the Database structure to Coding the integrations between my system and their Accounting system.I've had the privilege of integrating with many systems: Sage One, Sage Intacct, Netcash, Paygate, and Radius systems. To name a few.As the Team lead of 6-8 people and 10+ projects.This experience taught me have to communicate as well as manage code quality and consistency. I learned the importance of clear communication and teaching.I worked closely with a few Customers, which gave me the experience of client management. Managing client expectations and scope of work with the client. Learning hope to understand what the client wants and deliver a better product than they expected.
