I was delighted to join the board of the Modernist - a community interest company, indie publisher, gallery and bookshop based in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Marketing Manager working to a modest budget to launch the high-end baby goods superstore and thereafter promote the store, website and loyalty scheme. Pulled together a biannual, self-funded product catalogue, which grew from 24 to 120 pages over two years.

Brought in to manage the set-up, implementation and population of the website & mail order department of Tim Waterstone’s high-end chain of children’s department stores. Leigh stayed on to run the department and became involved in the marketing of the customer loyalty scheme.

Account Relationship Manager with a sales target for larger Tetra and Sage ERP users

Leigh worked independently with a small number of clients to maximise efficiency, productivity and cost savings from clients existing software systems and project manage business changes.

Leigh progressed through the organisation with a specialism in ERP software implementation and support. In her 14 years at MPS she began supporting, consulting and training clients on the use of Pegasus Accounting Software and and Tetra CS/3 (now Sage 500/Sage 1000). All the installations involved a business analysis and process re-engineering for SME’s Financial, Supply Chain and manufacturing business processes. The implementations often incorporated 3rd party products including Cash Forecasting, E-commerce, EDI and Business Intelligence reporting.Leigh grew a team of 16 consultants to support, train, consult and project manage system implementations of between 20-120 user systems. Latterly Leigh also undertook account management and sales advice to support the marketing and sales pipeline and create lead generation.
