As a registered Architect I since 2009 I love to challenge myself. This has allowed me to gain extensive experience in complex heritage projects and develop excellent communication skills in working multiple stakeholders and clients with diverse backgrounds. I returned to Australia and my home state in early 2020 and want to use these skills in my own community by creating healthy homes, retaining built heritage and developing small or large interventions to suit a clients capacity.I graduated in 2006 with a Master of Architecture and have focused since on place-making through adaptive reuse, restoration, collaborative engagement processes and bespoke construction techniques. I worked in Victoria from 2007 predominantly in multi residential and educational projects. While in Victoria I also taught at Monash University in their Architecture and Interior Architecture department’s with a focus on architectural academic support to international students. I am passionate about our built environment, the role it plays in the identity of place and how culture and heritage inform it. I have a strong understanding of my key strengths in architecture, place-making, design and construction and I thrive in collaborative multi-disciplined work environments, identifying the strengths of others and encouraging contribution to develop ideas and solutions.
