Founder and CEO of Centner Academy. Before entering education, I led a successful 18-year career in Finance and Accounting. I have extensive C-Suite experience in diverse industries including appointments as CFO of Highway Toll Administration, CFO/COO of Alignmed, and CFO of Centra Realty Group. In my corporate career, I worked previously with Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche, overseeing engagements with multiple billion-dollar accounting clients.One of my first accomplishments as Centner Academy’s CEO has been defining its vision and mission and aligning the merger and integration of Centner Academy and the Metropolitan International School of Miami. I believe one early sign of Centner Academy’s success are our Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) results. Centner Academy students are at the 86th and 74th MAP national percentiles in Reading and Math, respectively. Moreover, MAP results show that our students have learned almost double what students across the country have learned during the same time period. My greatest joy comes from being part of humanitarian organizations such as Convoy of Hope and and the Centner Foundation, which I co-manage with my husband David. I am also passionate about providing an educational platform that can transform lives.
