Participant Audit Manager
Current• Management of audit processes to ensure delivery of various targeted and statistical audit programmes• Accountable for completion of assurance deliverables, with clear and concise findings, valuable insights, and informed opinions reports• Line management, being responsible for the performance and development of direct reports• Responsible for annual audit plans, procurement activity, budgeting management and capacity planning• Contribute to external publications and management information collation and reporting• Deputise for the Audit and Compliance, Senior Manager as required• Use data outputs to identify and address areas of non-compliance in the schemes and use to devise and drive the audit strategies.• Manage the preparation and delivery of the audit programmes, ensuring the team meet internal and external deadlines.• Review and analyse complex audit reports or findings, ensuring that appropriate action is taken and robust decisions are made.• Research, investigate and communicate audit findings and key messages to participants/obligated parties, including identification of root causes and themes• Report management information and spend against budget to senior management to evidence progress of audit programmes.• Collaborate with relevant teams across the organisation to ensure effective processes are in place.• Applying controls and review mechanisms to identify and ensure correct application of schemes that we administer on behalf of government• Analysing data, identifying anomalies and possible noncompliance or fraudulent activity
