Leila McCoy is a tireless advocate and social worker whose career is dedicated to improving independence and quality of life for our most vulnerable populations. Her career includes volunteer service to pregnant and elderly persons in Mexico and Canada along with internships in Florida and Rural areas to serve populations that lack the language skills or transportation to access services or advocate for themselves. A former health professional and daycare director for children with special needs Mrs. McCoy uses her knowledge of adaptive equipment and special education instruction and curricula planning to help persons with disabilities to understand the services available to them and advocate for themselves to receive desired outcomes and complete Individual Plans for Employment to reach their personal and employment goals.
