After graduating University, I landed myself an exciting and challenging role at an Executive Search firm within the Financial Services industry. My role was heavily research based to begin with, but as is often the case at a small company, my role evolved and I started to get involved with PA work for the CEO of the company. I soon realised I was good at what I did and that I wanted to progress further as a PA. It was a great platform for me to start my career, but I wanted to be based in London, and part of the hustle and bustle.I moved to London after securing a position as an Executive Assistant at a management consultancy firm called Glenfern and worked for the Chairman and Senior Partner of the company.After three great years with Glenfern, I was itching to get back into the Headhunting industry as I missed the busy, fast paced environment and working closely with candidates and clients to build strong partnerships, in which I found interesting and rewarding. Luckily, I was introduced to The Lighthouse Company where I was offered the chance to be part of the growing ambitious team and I absolutely jumped at the opportunity after realising what an incredible company it would be to work for. The team chemistry and company ethos that The Lighthouse Company have is second to none. Having worked at The Lighthouse Company for over a year, I now understand why they have such a fantastic reputation within the industry and I’m thoroughly excited to be on this journey growing with them every step of the way.My role at The Lighthouse Company is to assist Ivor Falvey our Global Head of Media Search. I work on all project work, and look after all Clients and Candidates on every search we do. As well as my role as an assistant, I manage the company data, intel and insight, ensuring everybody in the company has access to the very latest thinking in our industry.
