People and their potential is my passion and will continue to be as I shift into a new role at Legacy over the next few months. I am looking forward to continuing with Legacy to support our incredible team and initiatives. I continue to cherish the opportunity to contribute in some small way to positively impacting people on professional and personal levels, and expose me to a diverse array of thoughts, methods and brilliance across a wide variety of sectors, in and outside of the non-profit sphere.As HR Manager for Legacy International for over 20 years, I have spearheaded outreach for talented "practical idealists" to join Legacy's staff team and am now "passing the baton" to a talented new colleague, Nix Bradly. As a previous Program Director for various Legacy professional exchange programs, I have designed and administered experiential learning programs for people from Morocco, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Belarus, the Republic of Georgia, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Ukraine. Themes have included public health, NGO development, education reform, youth advocacy, conflict resolution, disability rights, and civic education & citizen engagement.
